QUEST OF THE LIGHT
Enslaved within ruined Camalodden, seventeen-year-old Isolda harbours a secret that could save the Realmlands: supernal magic marks her as the only person who can wield the Binding Stone—and obliterate her despotic uncle, Vinquar. When she uncovers his plot to harvest her power and execute her, Isolda orchestrates a perilous flight into the wilderness, hunted by monstrous beasts.
Fleeing across desolate lands, Isolda’s deadliest threat is the conflict within. Driven by a savage urge for total control, she refuses to lean on anyone—until Teiwaz, a resolute warrior, compels her to confront her intransigence. As passion ignites between them, catastrophic betrayals shatter her world.
To crush Vinquar into oblivion and reclaim her homeland, Isolda must unleash the Stone's cataclysmic force. Yet victory demands a sacrifice greater than death: she must abandon her fierce independence, surrender control, and trust those beside her—or watch the Realmlands burn.

A heroic fantasy where survival means risking trust instead of control.
A Note from the Author
There was a time when my life felt like a siege—every day a new demand, every choice another weight on my shoulders. I clung to control because it felt like the only thing standing between me and collapse.
Out of that pressure, Quest of The Light emerged: a story about a girl in chains who believes the only way to survive is to trust no one, only herself.
The Realmlands are full of danger and magic, but beneath the battles and broken cities lies a quieter struggle: learning when to hold on, when to let go, and when to risk trusting another person with the parts of you that feel most fragile.
I wrote this for anyone who has ever felt they must be the strong one, the organised one, the one who never falters—who secretly wonders what might happen if they finally set some of that armour down.
Thank you for walking beside me through this story. May it give you courage for your own battles.

The Journey of Quest of The Light
This timeline traces how Quest of The Light has grown and evolved over the years, from its earliest drafts to the story it is today.
2005
In 2005, I finished the very first full draft of Quest of The Light. The story was raw, but the world, the characters, and the Binding Stone were finally on the page.
2019
Between 2005 and 2019, I kept returning to the manuscript—studying the craft of writing, learning from mentors, and working with beta readers. Each pass made Quest of The Light sharper, more emotionally resonant, and closer to the story I wanted to tell.
2024
By 2024, Quest of The Light had grown into a much deeper heroic fantasy, though I was still revising and refining it. That same year, I drafted a very raw first version of my second heroic fantasy, Redemption of Koeswik—a standalone story set in the same world, following some familiar faces from Quest of The Light alongside new characters, and the next step in my journey through the Realmlands.
2026
By 2026, I’m still walking alongside Quest of The Light, revising and deepening the story as I prepare it for the world. I’m also continuing to develop Redemption of Koeswik, exploring how its standalone tale weaves through the lives of returning characters. This October, I’m attending FantasyCon, learning from other writers and readers as I keep building my place in the world of heroic fantasy.

Praise for Quest of The Light
Quest of The Light is an absolute page-turner. The descriptions are so vivid and cinematic that reading it often felt less like turning pages and more like watching a film come to life, with characters who feel real enough to care about long after you close the book.

This is relentless fantasy at its best. From the opening pages, Quest of The Light never lets up, balancing high stakes with moments of quiet, emotional depth.

With such an intriguing cast of characters I was gripped from the start. The tension builds throughout the story to the very end of Isolda's quest. I couldn't wait to find out what came next. Highly recommend.

I couldn't put it down; Quest of The Light offers immersive, enthralling character arcs that are deeply emotionally resonant. It is a stunning journey I will never forget reading.
